With Liverpool playing so well this season and Hull City fighting for Premiership survival, this encounter between the two squads should be interesting.
Hull City was founded in 1904. The club returned to the premiership this year after a successful season in the Championship. The team colours are amber and black, and they play at The KCOM Stadium.
The team's greatest achievement in the FA Cup came in 2014 when they reached the final but lost to Arsenal. Their highest league position was in 2013/14 when they finished 16th in the Premier League.
Before moving to the new stadium in 2002, Hull had played all of the previous seasons at Boothferry Park. This stadium, now demolished, was famous as the only one in the football league with a railway station.
The club is nicknamed the Tigers because of the shirts, which are black and amber. There are two club mascots, Roary the Tiger and Amber his sister.
Hull City's first season in the Premier League was in 2008/9. Even though the team were favourites to be relegated, they suffered only one defeat in their first nine games.
