Liverpool Vs Chelsea
Tickets for any Liverpool F.C. home game at Anfield are always highly sought after and extremely hard to get. The demand is even higher when it is a night game under lights and the opposition is another title contender. This is the case on Tuesday the 31st of January 2017 when Chelsea visit L4 for what should be a fantastic game of football.
Without a league title since 1989/90, Liverpool are starting to look the part of genuine contenders this season and playing some of their best football since the departure of Luis Suarez. There is a lot of football to be played between now and the end of January but, on current form, both Liverpool and Chelsea should still be involved in the Premier League title chase and this game could be one of those proverbial "six pointers".
The two teams have already played each other this season when Liverpool travelled down to London and left Stamford Bridge with all three points after a 2-1 victory. The Reds played extremely well that day and thoroughly deserved their win against a Chelsea team that were still finding their feet under new manager Antonio Conte. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was only appointed to the job in October 2015 but the Stuttgart-born German has quickly become a favourite with the Liverpool fans for his pressing and attacking style of football. Seemingly in perpetual motion on the touchline, smiling or growling depending on how his team are doing, Klopp is certainly a character and almost worth the admission price alone just to see his antics. On the field, new signing from Southampton Sadio Mane has rapidly become a Kop favourite for his hard work while the Brazilian duo of Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino are linking well together and creating chances for themselves and their team-mates. Attractive and exciting to watch, the new Liverpool are one of the highest scoring teams in the Premier League and goals can almost be guaranteed in every game they play.
